Rodtang Jitmuangnon on the promising future of Smilla Sundell: “She will be unbeatable”

One of the most skilled athletes in the world, ‘The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon is the current and indisputable ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion. As a result of this, the Thai prodigy, who is now 26 years old, can spot talent a mile away.

In spite of this, Rodtang has a lot of respect for adolescent sensation and reigning ONE women’s strawweight Muay Thai world champion ‘The Hurricane’ Smilla Sundell, with whom he has spent some time training at Fairtex. Rodtang refers to Sundell as “The Hurricane.” The character known as “The Iron Man” thinks that Sundell is well on her path to being successful in the “art of eight limbs.”

Rodtang had nothing but complimentary things to say about ‘The Hurricane’ in a recent interview with ONE Championship.

Rodtang stated that

“Smilla is the kind of young lady who never gives up on anything. In the workouts, she consistently gives it her all. She will be unbeatable if she works with a top coach who teaches her various tactics.
Will Sundell be able to live up to the hype that has been around him? If she can win her next fight, it will be clear that she deserves this opportunity.

At ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham, which will be broadcast on Prime Video, Sundell will attempt to defend her ONE women’s strawweight Muay Thai world title against Allycia Hellen Rodrigues, who has the ONE atomweight Muay Thai world championship.

On Friday, September 29, live coverage of the event may be seen emanating from the Singapore Indoor Stadium located in Singapore.

Amazon Prime Video offers subscribers in the United States and Canada the opportunity to watch all of the action at no additional cost.

In the meantime, Rodtang will be fighting again before that and will defend his ONE flyweight Muay Thai title against ‘The Kicking Machine’ Superlek Kiatmoo9, who is also from Thailand.

On September 22, during the primetime hours of Asia, these two will square off in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 34, which will take place at the illustrious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The competition will be shown live on a variety of digital channels, including the ONE Super App, the official YouTube channel for ONE Championship, and others.
