Published:

At UFC 287, Israel Adesanya will face Alex Pereira in his rematch. Adrian Yanez will compete against Rob Font on the main event, marking his first fight in almost a year. The No. 12 ranked bantamweight received great praise from the former middleweight champion, who called him a potential champion.

Julian Yanez – I only recently saw him in the loo, and I immediately fell in love with his manner. I have the utmost regard for both him personally and for his coach, Thugjitsu-Yves Edwards. He is a formidable opponent. 135 is the new champion. Shout out to Rob Font as well. Respect goes out to everyone else in the contest. Rob Font is an experienced player and a hell of a combatant. Adrian Yanez is that guy, though.

“I had no idea he had a black belt. He’s a black belt in jiu-jitsu, which surprised me because I assumed he was just an attacker. He’s killing everyone on the feet with his fists and his kicks, and you haven’t even seen much of that yet. I intend to observe his battle in order to gain inspiration.

Yanez has won all five of his fights since entering the UFC. Four of those triumphs were achieved by TKO. He will have the chance to advance in the rankings when he competes against Rob Font, the No. 6 rated bantamweight, at UFC 287.

Israel Adesanya’s return: ‘The Last Stylebender’ explains why his confidence has not wavered ahead of UFC 287

Israel Adesanya has suffered three defeats to Alex Pereira, two in kickboxing and one in mixed martial arts. The former middleweight king acknowledged that despite this, he feels confident going into their upcoming fight at UFC 287. A recent interview on DC & RC featured “The Last Stylebender,” who said:

“Fk the BS, all of it. Fk the supporters, the reporters, and all that, as he and I both know. I know precisely what I can do to him, and he does too. I am aware of his potential for harm. I’ve always been victorious when we’ve battled until I wasn’t. If it was, say, that he simply pummelling my ass from bell to bell, screw it. That hasn’t been the situation. Until he discovers a way to prevail, I will continue to dominate him and win every time.Adesanya continued by saying that he enjoys the task of succeeding in a challenging situation against a foe who has already defeated him. At UFC 287, the top-ranked welterweight will attempt to win back the championship.
