When the Russian knockout artist Regian Eersel faces off against Dmitry Menshikov in the main event of ONE Fight Night 11, Regian Eersel is anticipating that Menshikov will engage in all-out warfare.

As the promotion makes its return to the illustrious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, Eersel, who is the incumbent two-sport ONE world champion, will defend his lightweight Muay Thai championship against the newcomer. The fight will take place at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. Fans may not be familiar with the history of Dmitry Menshikov or his skill set, but “The Immortal” knows exactly what to anticipate when the two warriors go inside the ring on June 9.

During an interview with ONE Championship, Eersel made the following statement: “I think he will bring the war to me.”

Throughout his career in combat sports, Menshikov has accomplished the remarkable feat of having his hand raised 27 times. Even more astounding is the fact that he has finished 70 percent of his fights, having knocked out 19 of his opponents. As if all of that weren’t enough, Menshikov will also have momentum on his side as he makes his promotional debut riding a win streak of 11 consecutive fights.

Of course, Regian Eersel is not a novice when it comes to putting together winning streaks. The Surinamese-Dutch standout has triumphed in each of his most recent 21 competitions, including each and every bout that has taken place under the ONE Championship banner. During that time period, “The Immortal” has not only proven that he deserves his moniker but also solidified his position as one of the most accomplished strikers in the fields of kickboxing and the art of eight limbs.

In addition to the battle for the lightweight Muay Thai world title, spectators will also be treated to a submission showdown. In the co-main event of the evening, ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo will defend his title against 121-win veteran Tommy Langaker.

On June 9, subscribers in North America to Amazon Prime Video will be able to watch ONE Fight Night 11 live and for free during primetime in the United States.
