PHOTOS: Former UFC fighter Mike Perry weds his longtime girlfriend Latory Gonzalez in a lovely ceremony

Published:

Earlier this month, one of the most exciting fighters who has ever competed in the Octagon of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Mike Perry, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend and the mother of his child, Latory Gonzalez.

The husband, who is 31 years old, posted photographs of the stunning ceremony on social media and pledged to provide his new bride with nothing but joy in the days and years to come:

“What a glorious time, and this is only the beginning! Sky is the limit ! I have so much love for my wife, @latoryperry, and I am so grateful to everyone of our friends and family who came out to show their support. Blessings from God!

“Gonzalez, who is married to Plantinum, is widely known to fans of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, particularly for cornering Perry during his battle against Mickey Gall.

Mike Perry has a history of placing responsibility for his defeats on his coaches, and during his bout against Mickey Gall at UFC on ESPN, the 31-year-old fighter notably ignored his other instructors and selected Gonzales to be the only person in his corner for the fight.

According to an article on republicworld.com, Latory Gonzalez has received training in both wrestling and several forms of martial arts. She has competed in wrestling for a number of the United States’ most prestigious organizations.

Perry had a promotional record of 7-8 when he departed the UFC in 2021, and he is now contracted to the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), where he is still unbeaten.

Mike Perry hints he is more interested in money fights than BKFC gold

Mike Perry, a veteran of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, is having an outstanding run at BKFC. At the most recent installment of the BKFC, ‘Platinum’ made quick work of the former middleweight champion of the UFC, Luke Rockhold.

On the other hand, it would appear that the 31-year-old is more interested in fighting for money than he is in winning a BKFC championship title. Recent comments made by the American, as part of an interview with TMZSports, include the following:

“I’m the fight to make money in, and I’m the fight to make for whoever. ” There is no doubt that Conor McGregor is exciting; Tommy Fury is interesting; Logan Paul is interesting; you know, these are terrific popular matches that may happen.
He added:

“Do I have what it takes to take on the champion? In any case, I’m currently at 185 pounds. I don’t know who the champion is at 185 pounds at Bare Knuckle, but in my life I’ve defeated their 175-pound champion twice… It is necessary that this decision be rational not just for the sake of the organization but also of the financial bottom line. We are talking about a significant amount of money, and I’m just here to make sure I live up to everyone’s expectations.
