Mikey Musumeci received birthday greetings from a variety of fighters and celebrities, including Mark Zuckerberg.
After establishing himself as a major star in ONE Championship over the course of the previous year, “Darth Rigatoni” celebrated his 27th birthday on July 6th. On the occasion of his birthday, Musumeci published a post on Instagram that included a lengthy message that included the following quote:
“27 years old // I feel like the year that I turned 26 was one of the most formative years of my life. There have been many highs and lows, but I am so grateful for all that has happened….”

In April 2022, Mikey Musumeci made his debut in ONE Championship, defeating Masakazu Imanari by using a rear-naked choke to secure the victory. Several months later, the American went on to win the inaugural ONE flyweight submission grappling world championship by defeating Cleber Sousa and earning a unanimous decision from the judges.
Since then, Musumeci has successfully maintained his reign on two separate occasions, the most recent of which was a commanding victory over Gantumur Bayanduuren. The last time “Darth Rigatoni” competed was on May 5, when he submitted Osamah Almarwai with a rear-naked choke at ONE Fight Night 10, the first event held by the company in the United States of America.
Mikey Musumeci is hoping to face against Demetrious Johnson, who holds the title of ONE Flyweight World Champion, however it is currently unknown who his next opponent will be. It will be interesting to see whether anyone can unseat the 27-year-old grappler who has established himself as one of the most skilled submission grapplers in the world. He has established himself as one of the most talented submission grapplers on the globe.
