On December 8, ONE Fight Night 17 will now include the Muay Thai battle between Ellis Barboza and Thongpoon.

Another delicious Muay Thai bout will be added to the action-packed ONE Fight Night 17 bill on December 8. British fighter Ellis Barboza and Thai dynamo Thongpoon PK Saenchai are scheduled to face off inside the renowned Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

One of the six fights in the catchweight division that have been confirmed for ONE Championship’s return to the capital of Thailand the following month is a catchweight bout at 120 pounds. Both fighters have racked up some impressive victories over the course of their careers, and they plan to bring comparable explosives to the ring in order to make this fight one to remember.

Ellis Barboza, who is only 23 years old, has already established himself as one of the most promising athletes in the United Kingdom and Europe. He is now prepared to compete against more well-known competitors on the global stage of the promotion in order to win his first world title.

The English Muay Thai champion and the WBC European Muay Thai champion, who trains out of the Fairtex Training Center in Pattaya, Thailand, is in the proper spot to take his skills to the next level among many athletes who ply their trade at ONE Championship. Both of these titles were won by the same individual.

When he makes his debut in just less than three weeks, he will be going up against a man who has been causing a stir on the promotion’s weekly affair that takes place inside the rowdy Lumpinee Stadium.

This year, the 26-year-old fighter from PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym has scored three victories: a decision victory over Yangdam Jitmuangnon, two knockout victories in rapid succession against Petmongkol Soonkelahuaitom and Tomorrow Kiatsongrit, and a pair of quick knockout victories over Petmongkol Soonkelahuaitom and Tomorrow Kiatsongrit.

The Thai sensation, who already has over one hundred wins under his belt, is hoping that his ferocious punching power and piercing elbows will be enough to help him get another victory against the hard-hitting newcomer Ellis Barboza.

On Friday, December 8, fans in North America who have an active membership to Amazon Prime Video will be able to watch all of the action from ONE Fight Night 17 live and for free during primetime in the United States.
