Lumpinee Boxing Stadium has been hailed by Superbon as the “Mecca of Muay Thai.”

After ONE Championship gave the venerable Lumpinee Boxing Stadium a facelift, Superbon Singha Mawynn is thrilled to participate there for the very first time. The transformation of the historically significant venue was made possible by ONE Championship.

This coming Friday night, the highly anticipated kickboxing match between Superbon and the outstanding Turkish fighter Tayfun Ozcan will take place. Although Superbon has competed in Lumpinee in the past, this will be the first time he does so since ONE Championship began its residence in the uncontested home of Muay Thai. Although Superbon has competed at Lumpinee in the past. Superbon made the following statement in connection with the promotion:

Lumpinee Stadium has a long history of being an important landmark in the history of Muay Thai. This location, regardless of its physical location, is a Muay Thai Mecca in every sense of the word. Especially after ONE Championship had completed their renovations to it. It made the location look more magnificent than it had in the past.

ONE Friday Fights is the name given to a series of fights that were first held at Lumpinee and were organized by ONE Championship in the month of January. The events, which take place week after week and showcase some of the most promising young Muay Thai fighters in the world, have provided an endless supply of highlights and have featured some of the most well-known athletes in the sport, such as ONE world champions Regian Eersel and Smilla Sundell, amongst other notable competitors.

This next Friday night, the ONE Championship will return for ONE Fight Night 11 on Prime Video. This will be a premium event that will feature world title bouts, including the ONE lightweight Muay Thai champion Regian Eersel, who will defend his title against Russian newcomer Dmitry Menshikov. Kade Ruotolo, the reigning lightweight submission grappling world champion, will defend his title against the Norwegian rising star Tommy Langaker in the evening’s co-main event.

On June 23, the promotion will once again return to Lumpinee for a long-awaited ONE heavyweight world championship unification match. This time, Arjan Bhullar will be competing against Anatoly Malykhin, who now holds the interim ONE heavyweight title and is the reigning interim ONE heavyweight titleholder.

On June 9, subscribers in North America to Amazon Prime Video will be able to watch ONE Fight Night 11 live and for free during primetime in the United States. In addition, ONE’s Friday Fights series is shown live each week on the YouTube channel of the promotion for fans located in the United States.
