John Lineker is aware of Fabricio Andrade’s strategy for tackling Jonathan Haggerty and has some speculations about it.

Published:

Fabricio Andrade should have his bantamweight kickboxing bout against Jonathan Haggerty in the normal form, according to John Lineker, who believes that the fight should take place at ONE Fight Night 16.

“Hands of Stone” faced the reigning bantamweight MMA king twice in the last year, with one battle ending in a no-contest and the second concluding in a fourth-round technical knockout loss at ONE Fight Night 7 in February of this past year.

With experience on the international stage with ‘Wonder Boy,’ the hard-hitting striking dynamo believes that his fellow countryman should keep to the same game strategy in order to propel him onto his second world title while competing under the banner of ONE Championship.

The knockout artist discussed his opponent’s fighting style during an interview with the promotion that took place prior to the fight card that took place on November 3 at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to Lineker:

Fabricio will concentrate more on the long distance, playing the straight shots, and practicing the kicks, in my opinion.

Fabricio Andrade has maintained the same style during his seven-match win streak under the ONE Championship banner. “Hands of Stone” does not see any reason why the 26-year-old striker would need to complicate things in the lead up to his promotional kickboxing debut.

It was clear that he had the ability to cut angles from the outside behind his punches and kicks when he competed against Li Kai Wen and Jeremy Pacatiw, both of whom he defeated. In addition to that, he performed the exact same thing against Lineker in both of their matches.

Fabricio Andrade ought to be confident in his talents, considering that he was successful in kickboxing before he converted into the all-encompassing discipline. This is because Haggerty might turn out to be a different grade of striker than those individuals named above.

A victory is by no means assured, but if he is able to display greater power and precision on fight night, he might be able to walk away from the illustrious stadium with a resounding victory and the title of ONE two-sport world champion.

On Friday, November 3, fans in North America who have an active subscription to Amazon Prime Video will be able to watch the entirety of the ONE Fight Night 16 card live and for free during primetime in the United States.
