One of the individuals who received the UFC bonuses that were distributed following UFC Vegas 84 on January 13 was Jim Miller, a veteran of mixed martial arts.
Gabriel Benitez and ‘A-10’ squared off against each other in a lightweight bout that served as the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 234. The grappling expertise of the forty-year-old fighter allowed him to get the better of his opponent, who he then went on to defeat through submission in the third round of the fight. Through the victory, he was able to bring his total number of victories in the UFC to 26.

During the post-fight octagon interview that he had with Michael Bisping, the forty-year-old fighter declared his desire to compete at the UFC 300 event and mentioned Paul Felder as one of the potential opponents he may face.
Miller was awarded a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus that was worth $50,000 as a result of his finish. Within the context of the multi-billion dollar promotion, this was his fifteenth bonus.

It was Magomed Ankalaev and Johnny Walker who squared off against each other in the light heavyweight division as the main event of UFC Vegas 84. The fight was a rematch because the previous time they faced each other, Ankalaev kneeled in an improper manner, which resulted in a no-contest.
During the rematch, the Dagestani was able to successfully knock out Walker in the second round of the bout. Walker was eventually defeated. In addition, he was awarded a bonus check in the amount of fifty thousand dollars for his services.

Additionally, on the main card of the event, there was a fight between Phil Hawes and Bruno Ferreira, who competed in the middleweight division. Ferreira eliminated his opponent in the first round of the bout by knocking him out. He did this in a very short amount of time. He was also one of the people who received the ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus, which was worth fifty thousand dollars.

In a bantamweight fight that took place during the preliminary bouts at UFC Vegas 84, Marcus McGhee and Gaston Balanos had a head-to-head encounter. Following the stunning spinning wheel kick that McGhee delivered to his opponent, he proceeded to use punches to punish him. ‘The Maniac’ was proclaimed the winner via technical knockout when the fight was stopped as a result. For his achievement, he was also awarded an additional check in the amount of fifty thousand dollars.
