Is it possible that the outcome of the bout between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis will have an impact on the MMA fighter’s future inside the cage?

One of the fights that people are most looking forward to seeing in the world of combat sports in 2023 is the one between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis. A boxing bout between Paul, a YouTube phenomenon and WWE superstar, and Danis, a BJJ virtuoso and MMA fighter, is slated to take place.

Their confrontation would be one of the two boxing contests that would serve as the main events on the MF & DAZN: X Series 10 – The Prime Card. On October 14, 2023, the gathering will take place at the Manchester Arena, which is located in Manchester, England.

Paul, who has a record of 0-1 in the professional boxing circuit, has competed in the sport previously at the exhibition, amateur, and professional levels. On the other hand, he has never competed in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) sport or in the field of submission grappling.

In the meantime, the anticipated fight between Danis and Paul would be the first time that Danis would compete in boxing. Although ‘El Jefe’ has not yet competed in the world of boxing, he does have a combat sports resume that includes two professional mixed martial arts bouts as well as a considerable number of submission grappling contests.

Both Paul and Danis have accused the other of wanting to get out of their battle, which is one of the most notable accusationss that can be made against either party. El Jefe has often asserted that the YouTuber is terrified of fighting him and would back out of their scheduled boxing match if it were to take place.

In a similar vein, Paul has made a point of emphasizing Danis’ notoriety for ducking out of fights on multiple occasions. Paul gave the impression to Danis during their face-to-face interview for the DAZN X Series a few weeks ago that he believes Danis will back out of their next battle.

Dillon Danis was not in agreement with the allegation that was made earlier. Despite this, Logan Paul proceeded to ostensibly up the stakes by issuing a challenge to ‘El Jefe.’ Paul asserted that he will engage Danis in a rematch in the discipline of mixed martial arts (MMA) if it turns out that Danis will box him on October 14. According to “The Maverick,”

“If you show up to this fight October 14th, I will rematch you in MMA.”

After Logan Paul’s offer, they gave each other a handshake and gave the impression that they had accepted the conditions that Paul had set for a future rematch. The potential rematch between Paul and Danis in mixed martial arts has not yet been made public, though.

In an appearance on MMA Hour earlier this month, Danis hinted that he’s seeking to fight in the UFC after beating Paul. However, it’s unclear who he’ll face in his next MMA combat, so it’s impossible to say who his next opponent will be.

A closer look at how the Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis result could affect Danis’ MMA career

A number of incredibly personal jabs have been directed at one another by both Logan Paul and Dillon Danis as they prepare for their upcoming battle. Throughout the buildup to the battle, ‘El Jefe’ has focused his attention fiercely on Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal. The legal dispute between Danis and Agdal is still ongoing at this day.

At the moment, Dillon Danis has a professional mixed martial arts record of 2-0 with no losses. On the other hand, he hasn’t taken part in the sport since June of this year. Many people believe that if Danis were to lose their boxing battle versus Logan Paul, it would have a negative impact on his career in combat sports. This is because of the various factors that would be at play in their grudge match.

The general consensus is that the outcome of Dillon Danis and Logan Paul’s fight might have significant repercussions for Danis’ future in mixed martial arts, particularly with reference to the value of his brand.
