Dmitry Menshikov is set to make his professional MMA debut at ONE Fight Night 11 on Friday, June 9. He could not have asked for a bigger debut than the one he is about to experience.
That evening, the Russian newcomer faces off against Regian Eersel, who holds world championships in two different sports for ONE, in a bout that will be broadcast live from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Menshikov has amassed an impressive body of work thus far in his career, and he is currently one of the highest-ranked strikers in his weight class.
The Russian, who holds a record of 27-2 and is currently riding a win streak of 11 bouts, has now set his sights on competing against one of the top fighters in the world.
Menshikov, who was eager to begin his ONE Championship career and battle against the best athletes in his weight class, received his desire at ONE Fight Night 11 (also known as ONE 11).
The Russian striking dynamo, who is gunning for one of Eersel’s championships, the lightweight Muay Thai world championship, is well aware that he faces a difficult challenge, but he is prepared to take on the challenge because that is exactly what he signed up for.
