Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino, a veteran in the sport of mixed martial arts, has stated that “Landslide” Eduard Folayang, a multiple-time former lightweight world champion of ONE, still has much more to offer in his professional career.

According to “Cris Cyborg,” all that Folayang needs to do to continue improving his talents is to keep practicing and putting in a lot of effort in the gym. Eventually, his efforts will pay off.

In a recent conversation with the reporter Nissi Icasiano of the YouTube channel The MMA Superfan, Justino suggested that it’s possible that Folayang is merely through a challenging period in his professional career.

‘Cris Cyborg’ said:

“This is one of the things that is really a personal choice, a personal decision,” the professor said. You should know that the life of a warrior can be challenging at times. There will be periods in your job when things are going well for you, and there will be other times when things are challenging for you.

But given that Folayang is a genuine warrior, ‘Cris Cyborg’ has faith that he can fight his way out of the rut he’s now in and improve his overall situation.

The Brazilian fighter, who is 37 years old, said:

“That is why we are called fighters, you know, because we continue to struggle to prevail each and every day. If he can keep improving himself through practice and hard work, I feel that he will have many opportunities in the years to come.
Due to the fact that he has been defeated in seven of his most recent eight mixed martial arts bouts, Folayang is now experiencing a severe losing streak. The man, who hails from Baguio City in the Philippines and is 39 years old, has experienced a fall from grace on a scale never seen before.

The title of ONE lightweight world champion was most recently held by ‘Landslide’ in 2018, although he was ultimately defeated by his long-time adversary Shinya Aoki the following year. Since then, he has been defeated by some of the most formidable competitors in the world, like Eddie Alvarez, Zhang Lipeng, and Edson Marques, amongst others.
