In response to a recent callout from Andrew Tate, one ex-UFC star has reportedly stated, “You guys can’t possibly think this is serious.”

Kevin Lee, a former welterweight and lightweight grappler in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, recently called out Andrew Tate. Lee has just turned to X and Twitter to make fun of sports news sources for covering his callout. In a recent statement, “The Motown Phenom” asserted that the challenge he had issued to Tate was made in jest and should not be taken seriously under any circumstances.

Whether he was engaging in playful trolling or trying to draw attention to himself by tying his name to Tate, who is one of the most controversial personalities in the history of social media, his specific motive for withdrawing his offer is unknown. It is possible that he was trying to draw attention to himself.

When Tate was younger, he competed in kickboxing and mixed martial arts, and he had varied degrees of success in both of those sports. Tate has been retired from combat sports for a considerable amount of time. During his career as a kickboxer, he won multiple world championships, including the ISKA and Enfusion crowns. He was a winner on multiple occasions.

However, he did not achieve any significant success in mixed martial arts (MMA), and he only won one battle before deciding to leave the sport. Lee, on the other hand, is a far more experienced mixed martial artist, bearing a record of 19–8 and holding the title of TWC lightweight champion. Also, he competed for the interim lightweight belt in the UFC, but he was unsuccessful in his attempt to win it against Tony Ferguson.

The fact that Tate is currently being investigated for sexual assault, human trafficking, and the formation of an organized crime syndicate makes it highly unlikely that Lee and Tate would have engaged in a fight. This is true regardless of whether he was joking or taking the situation seriously. In addition, it is highly improbable that Tate will be granted permission to leave Romania in the almost immediate future.

There are pre-trial restrictions in place for Tate, who is now being kept in the nation. Given Lee’s history of problems with Eagle FC and his disastrous comeback to the UFC, it is currently unknown where he will fight next. Lee just overturned his previous decision to retire, and it is still unknown where he will fight next.

Kevin Lee isn’t the only UFC fighter to have challenged Andrew Tate to a fight

Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone, a former octagon action fighter and a member of the UFC Hall of Fame, allegedly challenged Andrew Tate to a battle. It was around this time that it appeared as though Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg were going to be fighting each other in an octagon. “Cowboy” has said that he would be interested in competing against Tate on the possible Musk-Zuckerberg card.

“I will completely destroy you,” she said. Yes, I am a true fighter. You are a false bullshit wannabe fighter who made up a number of world championship belts that you got off eBay. You are a fake fighting enthusiast. Do you have a sense of humor?

Tate, however, did not take the fight seriously and disregarded Cerrone by alluding to the terrible knockout loss that Cerrone suffered to Conor McGregor in forty seconds. This ended up preventing the fight from ever getting off the ground.
