“Here, motherf***er, there is no retirement.” In response to recent remarks made by Oleksandr Usyk and his promoter, Tyson Fury has sent a compelling message to both of them.

The much-anticipated fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, which was originally slated to take place on February 17, has been postponed since the British fighter sustained a cut above his eye while taking part in the practice.

Disaster struck in the Fury camp two days ago, just as the two were getting ready to fight for the opportunity to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999. The fight was scheduled to take place in the United States.

After Usyk announced his intention to withdraw from the fight, his promoter, Alexander Krassyuk, responded on a post that ‘The Gypsy King’ had posted on Instagram. The WBC champion should seriously consider retiring from the sport, according to Krassyuk, who stated that the cut was a “sign from God” that he should do so.

Now, Fury has responded against Oleksandr Usyk and his promoter by launching a counterattack during an Instagram live event. The video of his rage was submitted to X by Michael Benson, who is the editor of the boxing section for talkSport.

This is what “The Gypsy King” shared:

Just a small elbow directly in the eye, and it almost caused me to lose the most important battle of my whole career. So, what options do you have? Stuff occurs, and we need to move on. We continue to make progress, and we have now established a new date. Usyk is sobbing her eyeballs out right now. It is time for Tyson to retire! Oh, he is interested in retiring. This is not the place for retirement, motherf***er. You are going to be knocked out today! The spark was knocked out. The new date is the 18th of May. A live broadcast that is exclusive to Saudi Arabia.”

Eddie Hearn shares his thoughts on Tyson Fury allegedly asking someone to cut his eye

Due to the fact that Tyson Fury sustained a severe cut above his eye when sparring with Oleksandr Usyk two days ago, he was compelled to withdraw from the fight planned between the two fighters.

Boxing fans, who have been forced to witness prospective battles between the sport’s finest fighters squandered time and time again for a variety of reasons, reacted significantly with a great deal of displeasure when they heard the news.

‘The Gypsy King’ is said to have purposefully slashed his eye open in order to avoid confronting Usyk, according to several theories that emerged recently.

Eddie Hearn, a prominent boxing promoter and chairman of Matchroom Boxing, was asked to offer his thoughts on the fan idea that Fury was the architect behind his own exit from the sport.

In a recent interview with SecondsOut, he disclosed the following information:

In the end, what you are insinuating is that Tyson Fury has asked someone to cut him open with a knife on his eye in order to avoid a fight. This is not something that you are considering doing, but rather other people. Which is completely, utterly unacceptable. Tyson Fury engages in a sparring session with an open head guard, but he has done so throughout his whole career and in millions of rounds. It appears to be a complete example of a freak injury.
