Fans are trolling Conor McGregor over the alleged usage of a filter in a recent picture that had been described as “gorgeous” by the Irishman. “Dustin Poirier’s b**ch filter”

Published:

Conor McGregor is widely considered to be the most popular fighter on social media and the most prominent pay-per-view star in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). When one considers the huge outpouring of support that he has been receiving for his future presidential candidacy, one might believe that fight fans would never turn on ‘The Notorious.’

To be honest, it does not appear like this is the case.

A post that was made on Instagram not too long ago by a past champion of two different divisions has achieved recognition for all the wrong reasons. For some reason, the photograph of McGregor that bears the title “Team Gorgeous” appears to have been altered in some way.

Fans who were very perceptive saw that the boxer had applied a filter to the picture.

Not one to let a chance pass them by, the ever-cheeky mixed martial arts fan base took advantage of the situation and set their cherished celebrity on fire.

When Conor McGregor accepted he was the most handsome MMA fighter

In 2014, a reporter questioned “The Notorious” Conor McGregor about whether or not his popularity is due to his dashing good looks. The question was asked regardless of whether or not McGregor employs filters on his photographs.

In the course of a media engagement for UFC 178, the Irishman was questioned about whether or not he believes that he is the most attractive mixed martial arts fighter. In spite of the fact that McGregor was originally hesitant to provide a direct response, he eventually gave in and shared his thoughts:

“I would say that I would be up there. That is not something that I really give much thought to, and it is not something that I consider at all… but who is the most attractive? Don’t worry about it; I’ll take it; why not? You can hand it over to me if you wish, and I will accept it. Provide me with a plaque, and let us rejoice. No issue at all.”

Since suffering a serious injury during his bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, Conor McGregor has been unable to compete against other fighters. It is anticipated that he will make his return to the octagon and face Michael Chandler at some point in the year 2024.
