Fabricio Andrade discussed the following topics in an interview that was published on the YouTube channel of FightWave:
“We’ve seen Stamp do it in the opposite way, going from striker to MMA, but we’ve never seen an MMA champion going to try and see himself in kickboxing or Muay Thai,” Stamp said. “We’ve seen Stamp doing it in the opposite way.”
Andrade is the type of competitor who has a good chance of shaking up ONE Championship’s very deep and talented 145-pound striking division.
The Brazilian superstar had an astounding 40-3 record in the kickboxing circuit before he decided to focus all of his emphasis on mixed martial arts. MMA was his first love. Fans of ONE have seen firsthand the devastation that can be caused by Andrade’s attacks, particularly the crushing knees to the body that have become his trademark.
