Even though Tommy Fury vs. KSI is scheduled to be the main event of the large boxing event that will take place this weekend, many fans are more interested in the semi-main event, which will feature Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis.

Controversy has surrounded the events leading up to the fight between grappler Danis and YouTuber turned boxer Paul. On social media, both of these individuals have shared a number of offensive comments directed at one another.

The most notable example of this is how Dillon Danis has been harassing Nina Agdal, who is engaged to Logan Paul, for what seems like months. Because of this trolling, Agdal has decided to pursue a lawsuit against ‘El Jefe.’

However, following today’s weigh-ins for the fight, which took place earlier in the day, it seems as though Paul is getting under Danis’ skin rather than the other way around.

To begin, ‘El Jefe’ made the accusation that Paul did not make weight for the battle, which the YouTuber has mainly refuted. According to Danis, Paul was given “extra time” to reach the 195-pound weight limit for the fight, which he was able to successfully do.

Second, it was obvious that Danis was angered by Paul’s choice to bring world-famous grappler Gordon Ryan with him to the post-weigh-in staredown. Danis took exception to this move. An irate Danis can be seen and heard calling both Paul and Ryan “juiceheads” in a video that has been posted on Twitter and can be viewed here.

It should not come as a surprise that Logan Paul has subsequently rushed to Twitter to celebrate what appears to be a psychological triumph against Dillon Danis. Paul wrote that Danis “lost his sh*t” when Ryan appeared on the screen.

Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis: Who is Drake’s money on in this fight?

It didn’t take long for the battle between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis to become one of the most anticipated bouts of 2023. Even though it will be officially playing second fiddle to Tommy Fury vs. KSI, it looks like it’s going to steal the stage tomorrow night.

Drake, a rapper from Canada, is one example of an interested observer. The celebrity, who is also known for being an avid lover of combat sports, said on his Instagram that he had placed a wager of $850,000 on Paul to win the fight against ‘El Jefe’ through knockout.

Should Drake’s wager prove successful, he would walk away with a nice sum of $1,351,500.

Despite receiving this endorsement, Paul would be well to keep in mind the so-called “Drake Curse.” This is a rumored phenomena in which athletes and sports teams are said to experience a decline in their fortunes after receiving support from the Canadian superstar rapper Drake.
