Fabricio “Wonder Boy” Andrade, the reigning world champion in the bantamweight division of ONE Championship, is holding his patience as he waits for his next world championship opponent. On the other hand, an old foe of his has piqued his interest.
Andrade complimented on ‘Pretty Boy’s performance and thought it was outstanding after the fourth-ranked Kwon Won Il defeated Artem Belakh through technical knockout in the second round at ONE Fight Night 11: Eersel vs. Menshikov a few weeks ago. The event was headlined by Eersel vs. Menshikov.
Andrade recently gave an interview to the South China Morning Post, during which he discussed the win of one of his South Korean contemporaries.
The Brazilian celebrity, who is only 25 years old, stated:
“His performance in the match against Artem Belakh actually left a very favorable impression on me. That was a superb performance; even when he was knocked down, he maintained his composure.

Indeed, Kwon’s performance against Belakh was nothing short of outstanding, which may cause many people to speculate about how Kwon would do in a rematch with the current bantamweight champion if he were to earn that opportunity.
During this time, Andrade is preparing for his first defense of his world title, which will take place against John Lineker. Andrade won the vacant belt back in February. Stephen ‘The Sniper’ Loman of the Philippines, who is now rated second in the world, is the obvious choice to be the next man in line.
