Conor McGregor responds sarcastically to not making Khabib Nurmagomedov’s list of the top 15 MMA fighters of all time

The rivalry between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov will always exist. McGregor’s most recent assault was sparked by Nurmagomedov’s most recent MMA “GOAT” list.

Over four years have passed since McGregor and Nurmagomedov engaged in one of the UFC’s most bitter rivalry inside the cage. However, the animosity between them is still as strong as ever, with occasionally tense online arguments between members of each group. At UFC 229), “The Eagle” submitted McGregor in the fourth round to win. Two years later, the Dagestani resigned from mixed martial arts, pushing “The Notorious” to make the argument that Nurmagomedov blew the opportunity for a repeat of the greatest-of-all-time bouts.

It’s interesting to note that Khabib Nurmagomedov recently put together a list of MMA competitors who have made a lasting impact on the sport, dubbed the “GOAT” fighters. Given that Conor McGregor’s former opponent Jose Aldo made the list, some combat sports fans questioned the Irishman’s exclusion:

“My Top 15 MMA Legends are: 1) Fedor/Jones 2) Anderson Silva 3) GSP Demetrious Johnson 4) Daniel Cormier, Henry Cejudo, Jose Aldo, and Kamaru Usman round out the list. No. 9 Adesanya No. 10 B.J. Penn Royce Graice (no. 11) Couture/Velasquez (12) Hendo and Shogun 13 CroCop and Miocic 14 Dominic Cruz and Frankie Edgar (15)”

As was to be expected, Conor McGregor responded to Nurmagomedov’s list by informing the Dagestani that he had already retired. Previously deleted, McGregor wrote:

“Who’s left matters in the end. Do not overlook. I pray for Tidl Sports Science.

Khabib Nurmagomedov ‘GOAT’ list: Who does Conor McGregor consider to be the greatest MMA fighter of all time?

One of the most significant competitors in the history of mixed martial arts is largely recognised as McGregor. He has had a major impact on the sport and how it is perceived to spectators, the media, and the general public.

His contributions to breaking records and growing the popularity of the sport are unrivalled. Given his economic savvy and contributions to the sport’s popular appeal, UFC president Dana White and many others view him as one of the sport’s best competitors.

The ‘GOAT’ of mixed martial arts, according to Conor McGregor, is former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. The Irishman placed himself in a close second place, and Georges St-Pierre, a former two-division champion, made the cut in third:

Goat thread is. Anderson Silva is the No. 1 MMA GOAT due to his wide range of victories in 2 different divisions and his champion status in 1. I have a variety of results in three divisions, two of which I have won, and I rank No. 2. if untied, 1. Even though it’s still in play, No. 1 is secured by the end of a career. also readily.

GSP has arrived at 3. fewer finishes with a wider range, but champion status in 2. But he is far behind. Reasons = Left 170 after suffering significant damage + dubious choice. never engaged 170 pound replacements again. Anderson struggle with booze. only moved when a fighter with one eye appeared. kept it safe.
