There is no question that Conor McGregor is among the very best trash talkers that the world of combat sports has ever witnessed.

The comment that “The Notorious” made in 2015, just before his fight with Jose Aldo, is the one that stands out the most, despite the fact that “The Notorious” has had a number of opportunities for his responses to go viral. Rio de Janeiro played host to a press conference for the fight, and, as could be expected, Brazilian fans didn’t show up in the greatest numbers to show their support for Conor McGregor.

During the press conference, Conor McGregor was questioned about his reaction to Jose Aldo calling him a joker. The question was posed to McGregor by the media. After hearing this, the audience began to jeer at the Irishman, but what happened next has been documented as one of Conor McGregor’s most infamous moments in the history of the UFC. He said:

“I own this town, I own Rio de Janeiro, and I am seated here with my feet propped up on the desk. What exactly is anyone going to do about it up there? There isn’t going to be any action taken in response to this from any of you. My surname, McGregor, and the motto of my family is “S Rioghal Mo Dhream,” which translates to “royal is in my blood.” This motto has a long and illustrious history. Therefore, for him to say that he is the king and I am the joker, if this were a different time, I would invade his favela on horseback and murder anybody who wasn’t fit to work in order to prove him wrong. But now that we are in a different time zone, I’ll have my revenge on him in July.

At UFC 194, Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor entered the octagon together. Within 13 seconds of the start of the fight, the Irishman McGregor dealt Aldo his first defeat in more than a decade by knocking him out with a thunderous KO.

Oleksandr Usyk makes fun of Conor McGregor’s weight, calls him out for a boxing fight

Oleksandr Usyk, the champion of the heavyweight division in boxing, recently mocked Conor McGregor for gaining weight and challenged him to a fight inside the squared circle. Usyk also called McGregor out for putting on weight. It is important to note that Conor McGregor has amassed a large amount of additional muscle mass and does not appear to be anywhere near the weight at which he used to compete.

Oleksandr Usyk was asked for his thoughts on the upcoming fight between Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury, which is scheduled to take place in October of this year. The conversation took place with the media outlet SecondsOut. After hearing this, Usyk gave a response by challenging McGregor to a battle in Wembley Stadium in London, which is located in the United Kingdom. He said:
