Gaston Bolanos, a talented fighter from Peru, will eventually make his UFC debut on April 15 at a UFC Fight Night. Bolanos, a fixture on Bellator prelims nights, will compete in a bantamweight bout against Aaron Phillips, a native of Louisiana. Carlos Contreras Legaspi of ESPN Deportes was the one who first broke the news of the arrest.

Bolanos first gained notoriety for his highlight-reel finishes off of spinning assaults. A year before his anticipated UFC debut, ‘The Dreamkiller’ defeated Daniel Carey via TKO to snap a losing streak. Soon after, he signed with the organisation. In the first round, the Peruvian folded against Carey with scarcely any time remaining.
Due to his opponents pulling out of four of his last five appearances, Gaston Bolanos has developed a reputation for being dodged.
Aaron Phillips, who hasn’t been able to compete in the UFC since losing by submission to Jack Shore in the second round in 2020, will greet Gaston Bolanos. The Dragon was released in 2014 after losing two of his first three fights while competing for the UFC.
After losing to Shore, Phillips’ World Fighting Championships winning streak of five matches was broken.
