Normally, Liam Harrison is the one lacing up the gloves and performing in front of thousands of people, but he did quite the opposite during ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on Prime Video. Johnson and Moraes III were competing against each other.
“The Hitman” was present for ONE Championship’s on-site United States debut in Colorado, but not as a participant; rather, he was there as a spectator who was able to take in all of the events that took place over the course of the weekend.
At the ONE Fight Night 10 fan meet, which took place in front of a sold-out crowd at the 1stBank Centre, Harrison was one of the participants. Other participants were ONE strawweight world champion Jarred Brooks, ONE women’s atomweight kickboxing world champion Janet Todd, Danielle Kelly, Marcus ‘Buchecha’ Almeida, and Colbey Northcutt.
Even more impressively, the British superstar was given the opportunity to co-host ONE Championship’s Twitch coverage of the event.
Harrison stated in an interview that viewing the card had him amped up for his upcoming comeback to the ring. The interview was conducted by the promotion.
Harrison also mentioned the ways in which commentator Mitch Chilson and ring announcer Dom Lau pumped him up as the event was going on:
“Being able to sit ringside and be able to observe how much intensity Mitch Chilson and Dom Lau put into what they do was one of my favourite things about the experience. I did nothing but sit there and observe how much effort they put into each and every battle, beginning with the preliminary bout and continuing all the way through to the main event. It was incredible to witness.”
Harrison is currently sidelined due to a knee injury he sustained during his fight against Nong-O Hama for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title at ONE on Prime Video 1 in August 2022. Harrison is currently recuperating from this injury. The 37-year-old competitor has undergone surgery since that time, and it appears that he will be able to make his comeback to the circle this year.
Every Prime Video customer in North America has access to a free replay of ONE Fight Night 10, which took place earlier this month.
