If he decides to hang up the gloves, Demetrious Johnson may have hinted at his future career step. The American veteran spoke with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour prior to defending his ONE flyweight world title against Adriano Moraes at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on Prime Video.Johnson joked throughout their extended talk that after he finishes building his illustrious career in mixed martial arts, he might pursue acting.

Johnson stated that it would be a pleasant change of pace from the demanding physical training that MMA has required of him for almost 20 years. But he was very clear that he wasn’t doing any stunt work.

It’d be enjoyable. However, I believe it depends on my mental constructs. What am I doing here? What’s the premise? Not stunt work, please. You endure a lot of severe beatings, therefore I don’t believe that. I prefer you to know. We shall see.Helwani posed the question about Demetrious Johnson enrolling in acting courses during that open conversation, and “Mighty Mouse” responded with the following brutally honest response:

“No, no. I simply deceive people in front of them. I merely wing it. Would I go to classes? Absolutely. I don’t take classes, but I do want to act or whatever. I’m always willing to learn new things. We’ll see, though.

But the current ONE flyweight world champion still has plenty of fight left in him, and on May 5 at the packed 1stBank Centre, he will serve as the main event of ONE Fight Night 10, the organization’s first live event in the country.

The trilogy fight for the ONE flyweight world championship between Demetrious Johnson and Adriano Moraes will serve as the main event of the card. The 1-1 tie between the two superstars makes it clear that both want to put an end to the rivalry in Colorado.
