‘The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon of Thailand, who holds the title of ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion, made a successful debut in the United States on Friday night at the ONE Championship event.Rodtang was given a bonus of US$100,000 by none other than the chairman and CEO of ONE Championship, Chatri Sityodtong, after he won a knockout victory over Edgar Tabares in the second round. Tabares was a former world champion of the WBC Muay Thai International tournament.Then, “The Iron Man” left the ring to thunderous cheers from the audience inside the 1stBank Centre in Denver. He dove into the crowd in order to get closer to the audience, who devoured him with a voracious appetite.

However, there is also the Japanese superstar Takeru Segawa, who was just recently signed by ONE Championship. Given the prominence of this contest, Sityodtong indicated in the post-fight press conference that an event taking place in Japan soon is probably going to be a possibility.
