At ONE battle Night 19, the ONE strawweight mixed martial arts (MMA) dynamo Lito Adiwang will hold his first battle of the year 2024. This strawweight mixed martial arts fight will take place across the ring from him, and it will be against Danial Williams, an all-around destroyer.
Lito Adiwang has won consecutive bouts after recovering from a knee injury for more than a year. If he is able to achieve yet another overwhelming victory, he may be able to propel himself into the running for the world title. However, ‘Thunder Kid’ will not have an easy time of it because his opponent, ‘Mini T,’ has demonstrated that he is one of the most adaptable fighters in the ONE Championship.
After spending a significant amount of time in Team Lakay, an MMA stable in Baguio City, Philippines, Adiwang decided to relocate to the very successful SOMA Fight Club in Bali, Indonesia. In 2022, the Filipino Wushu expert suffered an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during his bout against Jeremy Miado at ONE X. This occurred on the heels of that injury.
‘Thunder Kid’ moved his fight camp to Bali for his return bout, which took place at ONE Friday Fights 34 in September 2023. Although it took him a whole year to recuperate and rehabilitate, he was able to starch Adrian Mattheis in just 23 seconds.
Just a few weeks after the victory over Matheis, Adiwang fought Miado again and won by unanimous decision. This victory came just a few weeks after the Matheis victory. Adiwang shared the following with Sportskeeda MMAA regarding his remarkable comeback after such a difficult period in his career:
I get this sensation that I am aware that I have something, and I have a surge of motivation in which I am aware that there is still a great deal of energy that is available to me. There is something hidden within me that I have the potential to hone even more.

According to Adiwang, the significant choice he made to leave his home team in the Philippines in order to take a chance at SOMA Fight Club in Bali has proven to be quite profitable for him. There is no way to dispute the figures and the findings.

It’s such a significant positive aspect. It is being put upon me to do something different, to think of ideas that are not conventional, and to bring out other skills. I have no choice but to adapt because their approaches and capabilities are distinct from mine.
