Demetrious Johnson is seeking to close up another fantastic chapter in his illustrious career at ONE Fight Night 10, and he has been hinting that this may be the final installment of his long and illustrious career.Johnson will be the main attraction at the first event ever held by ONE Championship in the United States, which will take place on May 5.When he faces Adriano Moraes for the third and final time, it will take place live in front of a sold-out crowd at the 1stBank Centre in Broomfield, Colorado. He will be attempting to defend his flyweight world championship at this fight.

In interviews leading up to the fight, Johnson expressed the possibility that this will be the last mixed martial arts battle he competes in. After assuring his supporters and the media that he still had a few more years left in him, “Mighty Mouse” has come to the conclusion that he wants to take it one battle at a time and that he does not foresee himself participating for a number of further years.

During his visit on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, which took place in the studio, he discussed his attitude coming into this fight as well as how he will approach his retirement:

“This might be my last ride, and it might be the horse’s last one, too. It makes no difference whether I win, lose, or draw the game. It simply comes down to the fact that once the battle is over, I am finished with it. Even after I watched a video of myself after my most recent bout, in which I prevailed over Adriano. I was standing in the back and I thought to myself, “we just did it.” We are not in the “oh, yeah!” mindset. Let’s go! We’re thinking to ourselves, wow, that was quite funny. That was a very entertaining fight. Okay, got it. Let’s get back to our house, and once we’re there, we can take care of everything that has to be done. This is the way I am. This one is exactly the same as the other. It is something along the lines of, “well, we’ll go out there and see what we’re going to do and how this one goes.” And once we’ve engaged the enemy, we’ll discuss our options and decide what to do.”On May 5, the main event of ONE Fight Night 10 will be the rematch between Demetrious Johnson and Adriano Moraes, which will conclude their trilogy. Prime Video subscribers in North America will be able to watch the full event live and without charge.
