Joel Ojeda’s scorecard: Gilbert Burns calls on FBI to investigate judge
Gilbert Burns may have reacted to Joel Ojeda’s scoring in the UFC San Antonio main event the most strongly. The No. 5 welterweight called on the FBI to intervene in a statement to TMZ Sports, saying:
“Those judges ought to be looked into, in my opinion… Because these judges might be collaborating with the betting organization, we need the FBI to look into them. perhaps obtaining a third party to wager. I just think it’s not genuine, and those guys are doing something crazy. I believe those guys are dishonest and may be attempting to profit from this.
Burns said that even though he wanted Marlon Vera to triumph, it was clear that the bantamweight contender lost the fight. He stated that the fact that there are no consequences for incorrect scorecards, which appear to occur at every event, irks him the most.
It’s uncertain if Joel Ojeda will be penalised for his poor goal-scoring decision.
