At UFC 285, Jon Jones will finally make his heavyweight debut. Henry Cejudo recently uploaded video of himself practising with the longtime light heavyweight champion in which they discussed the greatest mixed martial artists of all time. Cejudo is also aiming to make a comeback this year after relinquishing his belt in 2020.
Jones, Demetrious Johnson, and Georges St-Pierre, according to Cejudo, are the fighters who people look up to. When Jones brought up Anderson Silva, the former two-time champion responded:
He has no wrestling ability. For this reason, I kick him out. I just can’t, despite how great he is, but he is a member of the GOAT mountain. He shares the GOAT mountain with you, but to suggest that he is all out MMA because he lacks wrestling and wrestling defence is absurd. To me, it’s pfft in my opinion.
Jones then questioned Cejudo about his position in relation to Johnson, whom he had previously faced twice for the UFC flyweight championship. Triple C’s response:

As he gets ready to challenge Ciryl Gane for the heavyweight championship at UFC 285 in March, Jon Jones is working out with Henry Cejudo. After a three-year break, Jones has been fattening up in order to make his heavyweight debut.
Recently, Jones spoke about his choice to work with Cejudo, saying:
“I’ve been working out with Henry for almost a year now. Henry is just incredibly smart. It’s been wonderful since he is such a fantastic leader and strategist. Henry simply has a great deal of passion for MMA. Angles and other small elements are all that actually matter. Henry would be an excellent coach for me in this battle with Ciryl Gane. He may be one of my corners if our schedules coincide and we are able to communicate well.”
In 2020, Jon Jones defended his light heavyweight title against Dominick Reyes in the octagon. He then let go of his 205-pound strap. As he targets champion-champ status, “Bones” will be aiming to solidify his legacy as the greatest fighter of all time.
