Over the course of his career, Lito Adiwang has demonstrated that he is not the type of fighter who gives up easily when confronted with challenges.

During the course of his career, “Thunder Kid” has encountered a number of obstacles, including difficult fights, defeats, and a big injury that forced him to miss the majority of the 2022 and 2023 competitions.

Lito Adiwang has not been one to lick his wounds and feel sorry for himself; rather, he has utilized these experiences as inspiration to come back stronger than ever before each and every time.

To put the year 2023 on a positive note, he has shown that he is capable of doing just that since he has returned from his injury and has won consecutive games.

In an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, the Filipino strawweight fighter shared his thoughts on his mindset and how he considers the ability to get back on track to be one of his greatest qualities as a competition:

“I believe that [determination and courage] are two of the most important reasons why I am still here because I attempt to look on the bright side of things at all times. In the same way that this athlete was unsuccessful, but he came back, he persisted, and he chased what he desired.

Lito Adiwang has bounced back in impression fashion from his biggest setback

A defeat at the hands of Jeremy Miado at ONE X was one of the setbacks that Lito Adiwang experienced, but the injuries that he sustained during the fight were significantly more significant.

Although “Thunder Kid” has never been lacking in the will to achieve his goal of becoming the champion of the strawweight division, he has now returned with a different kind of fire in his eyes.

In the upcoming fight, Adiwang will compete against Danial Williams at ONE Fight Night 19, which will take place at the illustrious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. He will be looking to maintain this momentum.

The achievement of Adiwang’s third consecutive victory on February 16 will place him in the position that he considers to be his rightful place, namely among the most formidable competitors in his weight class.

In the United States, during primetime, ONE Fight Night 19 will be broadcast live and free of charge to viewers in North America who have an active subscription to Prime Video.
