Due to the fact that they will be putting their friendship to the side in order to compete in the “dream fight” that fans have been waiting a long time to witness, the bout is certain to become an instant classic.
However, that isn’t the only dream battle that the reigning Muay Thai champion has in store for the near future.
Takeru Segawa, a legendary figure in the sport of kickboxing in Japan, was recently brought on as a game-changing addition to the ONE Championship roster. On September 22, he is scheduled to make an appearance.
The big new addition to the team has not even competed for ONE Championship, but he has already set his sights on one man, and only on that one man.

“If there’s an opportunity for me to fight with Takeru, either in Muay Thai or kickboxing, then I’m ready to face Takeru,” the fighter said. “I’m ready to face Takeru.”
